Japan

Team Photo

Though Team Japan is currently ranked 7th, the recent addition of former wheelchair basketball player Daisuke Ikezaki and the speed of the two “Shins,” (Shin Nakazato and Shin Shimakawa) makes them a team to watch. Japan medaled for the first time on the international scene at the 2010 Coupe Canada Cup, beating Team Sweden to win bronze and proving that they’re not a team to take for granted.
